Aws Security Expert en Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona.

Our client is a leading company in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment. We are looking for an AWS Security Expert to join their global security team.

The company has migrated a lot of applications and assets from on-prem datacenters to AWS during the past two years, and we need more people working on the security configuration, audit, remediation and communication on AWS Security.

You will be part of the `ISS Technology¿ Team, in charge of all technical security layers (proxies, anti-spam, endpoint security, CASB, EDR, etc.).

The current overall landscape of AWS is:

90+ AWS accounts

3 Regions to cover 3 continents

Some AWS security capabilities are already at least partially deployed and configured (AWS Config, GuardDuty, WAF, etc.), but they need to be reviewed and configured properly

Golden Rules for AWS security written and shared, but there is no control, no audit of them (if they are followed or not)

A CASB solution issues alerts on AWS misconfiguration, but the remediation is not done automatically

Your missions are:

To be the reference for any question on AWS Security (EC2, S3, Terraform, Serverless applications, WAF, GuardDuty, etc.)

Design solutions : high and low level

Implement solutions in collaboration with other teams

Make sure the remediations of security issues are done properly

Build dashboards to automatically review and remediate security issues

Investigate and remediate AWS related alerts received by various channels (SOC, CASB, AWS native services, etc.)

Make sure the Gloden Rules for AWS Security are always up to date and shared to all stakeholders

You will have to work with other teams (network, systems, SOC, developers, etc.), worldwide, so a very good English level (spoken and written) is mandatory for this position.

Degree in the field of Cybersecurity, computer science, IT engineering or related fields

EXPERIENCE

Strong experience in AWS

Strong experience in Security (technical domains)

Experience in an international work environment

REQUIRED KILLS

Very fluent English (written and spoken)

Very strong experience in AWS Security

Good knowledge of DevSecOps and automation (Terraform)

Out of the box thinking

Network, systems and security skills

Ability and experience to formalize and drive both recommendations and action plans
