We are looking for a Data DevOps to join our Data Team in Sant Cugat del Valles.
The Data DevOps is a brand new role in our Data team which is pivotal to supporting the execution of our data transformation strategy at Fluidra. This role will provide you with the opportunity to embed best practice into the DevOps world whilst guiding a team on modern DevOps and Agile frameworks to help us revolutionise the way we deliver new technology.
This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned DevOps professional who possesses exceptional leadership skills with the natural ability to inspire and empower a team to deliver on our commitment to excellence. In this role, you will play a strategic role to design, build and maintain infrastructure and software to help the firm run, grow and transform. Main Tasks:
-You will operate as a bridge between development, testing, network/infrastructure, operations, and system administrators to facilitate efficient, continuous, and high-quality software delivery.
-Manage multiple simultaneous projects and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while balancing the BAU.
-DevOps represents a change in IT & DATA culture, you will focus on rapid delivery through the adoption of agile, lean practices in the context of a system-oriented approach.
-Adopt a scalable approach to DevOps by establishing dedicated platform teams to rapidly respond.
-Implement automation tools that can leverage an increasingly programmable and dynamic infrastructure from a life cycle perspective.
-Build, configure and maintain the frameworks, tools, and systems that enable optimal performance.
-Help mature our software development life cycle management to enable the production of high-quality low-cost software in the shortest possible time.
-Integrate with all development, quality assurance, network, cloud and on-perm server and storage teams.
-Partner with business Translators and subject-matter experts to collate and translate business requirements into technological solutions.
-Establish a DevOps Community Of Practice (CoP) to encourage members to bring ideas and observations to the community, where concepts are discussed and refined.
-Establish, implement, and enforce appropriate frameworks to meet business and cyber security requirements. - position requisites

Mandatory skills and knowledge
-Awareness of contemporary IT infrastructure engineering, technologies, and management methodologies.
-Strong Windows Server (2019+ skills).
-Strong Linux: EL 6/7/8 (CentOS, Red Hat, OEL).
-Message Queue: Kafka.
-Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes. Similar container orchestration stacks such as Swarm, DCOS, Rancher etc.
-Source code version control systems (Git).
-Coding in several programming languages such as Python, PowerShell.
Coding practices - structure, modularization, refactoring, maintainability.
-Understanding of ITIL and formalized change management processes.
-Bug tracking issues management.
-Automation Platforms: Jenkins.
Advantageous skills and knowledge:
-Container ecosystem tools ¿ Docker, Red Hat Atomic, Rancher OS, Alpine
-Interest in other languages ¿ e.g., JavaScript, R
-Database Management Systems and NoSQL Databases: PostgreSQL 9.x incl. streaming replication MongoDB, Cassandra
-Monitoring and Metrics
-Linux: Debian/Ubuntu- Formación: Grado: Grado en Ciencias Matemáticas y de la Computación
