Desde la división de Marketing, Digital & eCommerce de Randstad Professionals, consultora especializada en la selección de perfiles altamente cualificados, estamos buscando para Spotify un Head of Public Relations & Communications, que llevará toda la zona de Southern & Eastern Europe, para cubrir una baja por maternidad durante 8 meses; con reducidas posibilidades de incorporación posterior a plantilla.

                                                                                                           

 

CONTEXTO Y NECESIDAD

  

La actual Head of Public Relations & Communications - Southern & Eastern Europe, ubicada en Madrid, se va de baja por maternidad en Julio 2020.

                                        

Buscamos una persona con al menos 8 años de experiencia working in a multinational tech-company or music industry, with experience working with corporate and consumer communications and PR, in a global business environment and/or from agencies.

 

Contratado por Randstad, la persona seleccionada se incorporará el 1 de Junio, para sustituirla durante, al menos, 8 meses (31 Enero 2021); con el objetivo de trabajar de la mano durante un mes antes de la baja por maternidad.

 

Existe la posibilidad de ampliar la contratación hasta 10 meses y/o de incorporarse antes de Junio. Sin embargo, existen pocas posibilidades de mantenerse en el equipo posteriormente.

 

 

MISIÓN

 

La persona seleccionada tiene la misión de llevar todo el PR & Communications para España, Italia, Polonia, Turquia e Israel.

 

This person will plan and execute PR, external comms, financial, consumer and corporate stories across all of Southern and Eastern Europe (supported by agencies in the 5 key markets). You will be an integral part of driving forward our ¿blurring the lines¿ approach to communications by supporting the broader communications team¿s effort to combine internal and external communications to reach multiple audiences.

 

Es un rol clave dentro de la organización que requiere de una persona capaz de gestionar y coordinar los Stackeholders tanto internos como externos.

-          Internos: Ejecutivos, Dirección General de cada Región/País, Dirección Marketing, Dirección Música, etc.

-          Externos: Agencias de PR & Communications en cada Región/País, el plan de comunicación de estas, etc.

 

Es más importante una persona con experiencia en Comunicación de Consumo y Consumer/Advertiser PR, que en Comunicación Corporativa, ya que esta ya está definida a nivel global.

 

Entrará a formar parte del Regional Leadership Team así como del Global Comms Team y reportará directamente al Head of PR & Communications EMEA.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILIDADES

 

Based out of our Madrid office, the Head of Communications will manage media relations activities across the Southern & Eastern Europe markets, steering and executing local consumer, advertiser, partner  and corporate communications strategies as well as local traditional and new media/influencer relationships in line with Spotify¿s regional and global direction.

 

This position is responsible for the planning, execution and evaluation of activities supporting the communications strategy in Southern & Eastern Europe, while seamlessly coordinating with the global Communications team to ensure alignment with the global communications strategy and messaging. The role is ultimately responsible for output that fosters greater understanding of the company¿s business strategy and corporate narrative among media, investors, industry and consumers.

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

 

-          Lead communications for Spotify across the Southern & Eastern Europe markets, both strategically and as part of day to day operations

-          Drive consumption hours, consumer awareness and brand love through creative press, publisher & influencer campaigns and targeted speaker opportunities.

-          Build on Spotify¿s role as music industry thought leader and work to position Spotify as the world¿s leading audio network and as a corporate citizen in the sphere of culture.

-          Provide high level communications support as part of the Regional Leadership team on sensitive and strategic issues

-          Seamlessly coordinate with the broader global communications team to in order to ensure integration between local and global narrative

-          Media and message train spokespeople, where necessary

-          Exemplify Spotify¿s mission and values in daily work

-          Lead and develop direct reports (a new contractor based in Italy), as well as coordinate the outside agencies we work with to achieve communications objectives

position requisites

WHO YOU ARE / WHAT YOU HAVE

 

Experiencia:

-          Minimum of 8-10 years experience from working with corporate and consumer communications and PR, in a global business environment and/or from agencies.

-          Experience of working in a matrix organisation where strong coordination and shared working with the wider communications team is crucial

-          Experience of working in a multinational tech-company or music industry

-          Solid, active media contacts and relationships in Spain and the rest of the markets

-          Direct experience of working in media, entertainment or music communications is a bonus but not a prerequisite

-          Experience of working with/in a public company is preferable

-          Experiencia gestionando equipos es deseable.

 

Formación y Conocimientos:

-          As a seasoned communications leader, it will be critical that you are a strong communicator with solid media relations and have a strong sense of both strategy and tactics as well as experience of issues and crisis management

-          Senior strategic thinker with a passion for hands on tactical PR work in a fast paced and highly complex startup environment

-          Excellent writing and project management skills, as well as effective engagement with stakeholders across the company and at the highest level across the business.

-          You are expected to thoughtfully consider Spotify¿s business and reputational goals, and execute them in strategic, proactive and globally integrated ways

-          Dominio perfecto de inglés hablado y escrito.
