Plan, develop and control the execution of construction projects (from definition to commissioning) ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, in optimal conditions of quality, cost and time.
Solarpack is looking for a Construction Project Manager to join its team in Aromo (Ecuador).
Reporting to the EPC Construction and Sales Manager, your tasks will, among others, focus on:
-Creating the project schedule and budget.
-Making an analysis of the evolution of the economic indicators of the works under your responsibility, tracking project costs, providing detailed cash flow projections on a regular basis and taking appropriate corrective actions in case of deviation.
-Monitor project progress and manage staffing and contractors, negotiate and close out subcontracts to ensure timely completion.
-Ensure compliance with all contract provisions and clearance requirements.
-Lead negotiations and closing of subcontracts.
-Resolve technical issues related to works under his responsibility, with support from the in-house technical team.
-Risk management; identification of threats that may hinder the success of the projects. Preparation and monitoring of the project risk map.
-Supervision and coordination of the work team assigned to each project with the different departments of the company.
-Coordinate with the different departments within the Company involved in the execution of the project (Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Financing, Project Development, etc.).
-Work closely with site management by actively monitoring tasks and/or activities and provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
-Hold regular progress meetings and actively follow up on the completion of tasks/activities
-Serve as point-of-contact for customers/clients/contractors during each project.
-Ensure smooth transition during the phase from EPC to O&M. - position requisites

-Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Civil.
- English (B2)
-At least 4 years in similar positions as project manager Construction Project Manager with extensive demonstrable experience in EPC projects in the renewable energy sector, preferably solar photovoltaic plants.
-Experience in managing several projects simultaneously.
-English B2 (Minimum).
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
-Advanced knowledge of project planning software (Microsoft Project).
-Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
-Detail-oriented and exceptional analytical and organisational skills, proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, proactive and decision making skills, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, leadership, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, excellent communication skills.
