This job opportunity is with a leading global food and beverage company specializing in dairy products.
your functions
Product development and Implementation within its technological platform.
Directly or via his collaborators, he/she manages projects in terms of quality, deadlines and costs.
More specifically, he/she is responsible for:
- Contributing to product brief definition in conjunction with his/her privileged contacts
- Developing the product at pilot scale while taking into account industrial capabilities for successful scale up
- Briefing and animating relevant suppliers in line with category briefing rules during the product development
- Guaranteeing product superiority, both organoleptically and nutritionally
- Ensuring the product clearance for consumer test (tasting and technical data sign off) in coordination with the IDDC platform leader & IDDC director.
- Industrializing the product either directly or in relation with the plant Project Optimization Managers (POM) or the R&I implementation relays
- In case of holding implementor role as well (on a specific project), writing the specification and in case of being the spec owner giving the overall guidance to the implementors for the spec on the certain range of product under her/his responsibility and further guaranteeing the validation & the approval of the finished product specifications by the platform leader and IDDC Yoghurt director.
- Implementing process and tools in force (Innopro, Ipro view, Artemis, etc.)
- Designing product solutions by optimizing all performance criteria (P&L, consumer performance, nutrition, etc.).
- Designing solutions maximizing scale at EU evel (taking into account the legal status of ingredients & processes and industrial footprint) in collaboration with key partners (Food law, Portfolio manager Cluster & Brands, S&C network, etc.)
Support for the construction of the innovation and renovation pipeline of its platform.
He/she will participate in the construction of the innovation/renovation pipeline:
- supporting scale up at EU level
- contributing to the definition of the product experience during the Explore phase, in partnership with local R&I teams
- capturing local product challenges and translating them into technical briefs for the Advanced technology teams
- proposing new product experiences in line with the strategic innovation pillars at European innovation events.

Formación
: Grado: Grado en Ciencia y Tecnología de los Alimentos -
Idiomas
: Italiano: C1, Castellano: C1 -
Conocimientos
: i+d, lacteos, Agile Project Management, yogures, plant based -
Experiencia
: 5 años
Solid scientific background (engineer), minimum 5 years of higher education
At least 5-year experience in the food industry in contact with the product / process (pilot and/or industrial scale)
Ideally good knowledge of the yogurt process operations units
Ideally knowledge of the formulation and technology of fruit preparations.
Ideally first experience of hierarchical or transversal management. Passion for people development.
Analytical skills and spirit of synthesis
Quick adaptability and agility. Ability to deal with uncertainty and complexity ¿ being comfortable with the uncomfortable.
Good communication (influence, convince and negotiate) and leadership skills
Ability to build trustful relationships with stakeholders

Ability to travel to factories / headquarters
Fluent English
Computer skills such as pack office software including Excel and Power Point.
