The Safety Service Project Engineer will:

¿ Interpret Safety Requirements provided through Risk Assessment and associated documents ¿ Actively contribute to identification and definition of sound Safety Solutions in cooperation with Safety Service Consultants and System Integrators¿ Assure technical feasibility of Identified Solutions ¿ Assure best possible match between Safety Requirements, Identified Solution and Client process and productivity needs¿ Own Responsibility for documentation and effective communication of Safety Specifications to all relevant stakeholders, with primary focus on System Integrators as well as Client engineering teams

¿ Contribute to identification, qualification and development of the Integrators for Safety in conjunction with Safety Service Project and Contractor Manager, Technical Manager and local SI Manager¿ Technically support competitive bidding, as well as individual negotiations with SIs ¿ Support implementation of Contractor management policies as provided¿ Assist with provision of technical feedback, incl. identification of development areas as well as needs for training of the SI

¿ Own Responsibility for smooth and on time commissioning, anticipating with diligent preparation any technical roadblock, in full awareness of the high sensitivity of the project phase¿ Support effective management of scope changes or creeps in best possible protection of company interest¿ Perform or oversee Validation and Verification tasks, as agreed on a project-by-project basis with the Technical Manager ¿ Oversee preparation and assure quality of Technical documentation prepared by the SI¿ Assure comprehensive final delivery of the documentation package agreed with the Client

Well-developed planning, organization and implementation skills

5 - 10 years of experience in machine safetyKnowledge of European regulationsFluent - EnglishAvailability to travel up to 65% of the time

Knowledge and experience developing Industrial Automation projects
