Job Description

The VAT Analyst will handle independently the various VAT activities for Legal Entities centralized in the FSC in compliance with VAT policies & guidelines. The Analyst will also perform detailed review, analysis and interpretation of defined processes in the VAT area ensuring accuracy of data and adequate processing and reporting, and will be part of the VAT advisory team, giving support to the business.

your functions

Functional responsibilities:

Prepare accurate VAT returns (monthly/ quarterly basis)
VAT Account reconciliation
To prepare and deliver quality financial reports as required by internal or external requirements on time.( Vat declarations, Tax audits, etc.)
Perform the VAT closing activities and resolve subsequent queries
Keep up to date on Legislation related to VAT, ESL and Intrastat in the country under responsibility (Continuous Professional Education)
To participate on internal & external financial audits. Support the local and tax organization particularly in case of tax audits
Support compliance processes for other Taxes (corporate income tax, withholding tax, plastic tax, other environmental taxes..)

Finance/accounting/audit experience

Business proficiency in English
SAP R3 knowledge is a must
