    American Company is seeking candidates to join their Freight Accounting team in Asturias American Chemical Company Freight Invoice resolution and handling of disputes in all logistics freight auditing systems. Provide on-time responses to internal customer and carrier requests through the Freight Helpdesk email account. Collaborate with global freight carriers (road, ocean, rail, air) as well as with internal clients across different regions. Perform quality control checks for detection and analysis of errors in processes under scope. Establish resolution and set-up a path forward to avoid recurrence. Identify proactively continuous improvement opportunities and participate in projects and new implementations. Provide process guidance and support to Logistics operations personnel. Perform month-end-closing activities for all freight-owned accounts for North America, Latin America and EMEA legal entities. Prepare, review and monitor freight reconciliations of all freight-related accounts. Build ad-hoc finance reports and provide thorough explanations to Finance stakeholders on freight costs. Participate in a wider network of finance/logistics/IT departments and foster a solid collaboration amongst them. Comply rigorously with internal controls and SOX requirements.   Monitor KPI¿s and create status reports and dashboards to provide performance data. Document and maintain procedures as well as training material and knowledge repositories to ensure right performance. Support internal & external audits. Be able to drive calls and projects independently. Perform administrative tasks to support the team: e.g. update contact lists, time planning, organization of meetings, etc.
