We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Datacenter Specialist to join our Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for the design, deployment, and management of Microsoft Azure-based datacenter environments, while also supporting on-premises server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and hybrid cloud operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure architecture, Azure Arc, cloud networking, virtualization technologies, and hybrid cloud security practices, along with experience in project delivery, automation, and compliance management.

Azure Cloud Infrastructure
Design and implement scalable and secure Azure-based datacenter solutions.
Manage Azure resources including Virtual Machines, VNets, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, and Azure Firewall.
Azure team must support the network team with the definition of segmentation rules (Firewall rule set)
Optimize resource usage and cost through Azure monitoring and governance tools.
On-Premises Server & Virtualization Management
Administer and maintain on-premises server infrastructure (Windows/Linux).
Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or Azure Stack HCI.
Monitor server performance, availability, and capacity planning.
Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies across hybrid environments.
Hybrid Cloud Management
Design and manage hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-premises and Azure workloads.
Deploy and manage Azure Arc to extend Azure services and governance to on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
Ensure unified policy enforcement, resource consistency, and lifecycle management across hybrid infrastructure.
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support hybrid deployments and automation.
Hybrid Cloud Security Practices
Implement and maintain security controls across hybrid environments, including Azure-native tools and on-premises integrations.
Use Azure Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Entra ID to monitor and protect hybrid workloads.
Apply consistent role-based access control (RBAC) and identity protection across cloud and on-prem systems.
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and compliance audits for hybrid infrastructure.
Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).
Project Management & Automation
Lead cloud and datacenter infrastructure projects including deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as:
Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
Terraform
Bicep
Azure CLI / PowerShell
Ansible
Maintain documentation and provide training to internal teams.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and datacenter operations.
Strong knowledge of Azure services: Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, and Monitoring.
Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and connectivity solutions.
Hands-on experience with on-premises server administration and virtualization platforms.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (ARM, Terraform, Bicep, Ansible).
Understanding of cloud and hybrid security principles and Azure-native security tools.
Experience with monitoring and performance tuning in cloud and virtualized environments.

Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ- 305)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Experience with Azure Arc and hybrid cloud governance.
Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or Azure Stack HCI.
Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile).
Experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
